Ok So lets hear some of your favorite experiences at concerts.
Mine would have to be when me and my dad still got along he took me to Ozzfest in Charlotte. It was one of the best times I had ever had and I even got to meet the members of Incubus. Those were so the days.

Pretty much the only concert I've been to was Weird Al at the OC fair. ... Yep, only real concert I've been to. Or at least only non-classical concert.

Not counting free acts at Summerfest in Milwaukee (Huey Lewis and the News was there!),I've been to five paid concerts before in my whole lifetime! They were...
1)The original tour of Ringo Starr's All Star Band when Joe Walsh and Billy Preston were there. It was like watching 5 concerts at once because everyone there did their own hits and it was fantastic!
2)Bad Company/Damn Yankees tour. The FIRST tour! That was awesome too.It was the only time I ever got to see Ted Nugent play live and that guy is insane!
3)I had a seventh row center seat for Metallica on the "Black" tour in December 1991.It was the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor bombing date.Hard to forget that one!
4) the Trans Siberian Orchestra a few Years back.In case anyone doesn't know who they are,the members used to be Savatage from the 80's.(look 'em up)
5)Steely Dan/Michael McDonold co-touring THIS YEAR!! I saw the opening night of the tour in Milwaukee and it was great!!
I can't really pick which one of these was the best because each one was unique in it's own right for the memories attached to them. And believe me,there's a VERY interesting story that accompanies each one!! ;D

PlanetFest with Silvertide (*was in love with the lead singer for days after the concert*), Shinedown, and POD....
Nine Inch Nails rocked hardcore. I had so much fun then....
Velvet Revolver....Evanescence with Seether, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Days Grace (which was TOTALLy a surprise thing....we didn't know they were opening for them)
Yeah...i've had a lot of fun with concerts....My fave would have to be NIN, though....

Any of the four times I've seen Nine Inch Nails are definitely up there...but my first time seeing Our Lady Peace has to be the best. Me being in the US and them being from Canada, they don't tour here much...so I FLIPPED out when I got to see them. That concert was by far the best things I've ever seen.
But as far as experience goes, it was probably the first time I saw Dope. I got to go into the VIP room and chill with Edsel. It was amazing. (:

As much as I dislike country music, I really enjoyed seeing Keith Urban and Rascal Flatts in concert. They're fun. lol

When I went to the Billy Idol concert like a year or 2 ago. I was in the third row and could see everything perfectly. Then after the show I got to meet Billy.

Last night I went to see Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band in Milwaukee!! *squeeeee* ;D True to form of me being me,I went off on someone who was being obnoxious. But I take comfort in the fact that I wasn't the ONLY one who did!! Here's my review of it I posted in my Live Journal. launchpad555.livejournal.com/8507.html

It was awesome (and the only non-school/orchestra/band concert I've ever been to). But one of my odd concert experiences happened when I was in one... I was playing with an orchestra (Bacchanale by St-Siens or however you spell it) for a concert, and everything was going well until we got to this one part where, for some reason, everyone stopped playing for at least 30 seconds. And this was in an orchestra that was supposed to have the best players in our district, so it was rather embarrassing XD We also had another problem with the same song at our next concert, but it wasn't as bad; people just came in early, but no train wreck like last time

tibetan freedom concert was the best concert i've ever been to. it was the one in 1999 that was going on in amsterdam, chicago, tokyo and sydney on the same day. i got to see rage against the machine, beastie boys, run dmc, live, wu tang clan and a ton of others. the best part was when eddie vedder and one other guy from the band was getting ready to play a song and they asked if someone from the audiance knew how to play drums. this one guy said yes, he came up on stage and started to play. he was so good that he stayed and played a song with them. some of the greatest performances from some of my favorite bands and for a very good cause.
