Whew. I managed to salvage all the really expensive silver lacing from my top. YAY. So now I get to buy new material and Jeanne sew me a new one. haa haa. Also we ARE looking into finding the traditional Manderine Chineese top patterns. I will actually be hitting Joann's right after I get my truck and checking out osme patterns. We are going to ELIMINATE the name tag area on the right side. That will be replaced buy the cross over that the manderine top has..... We are still trying to find regular silver lacing that wont shred in the wash.... Sadly most places are discontinuing Silver Bias tape *Cries* and now we have to figure something else out. IF we CANNOT find anything that will work what do you guys think about changing the silver out for gold? ??

I think it's a good idea since if someone tries to wash theirs it might ruin the entire uniform (hopefully it wouldn't). By the way the uniforms look great! *waits in line*

I'm fine with the gold, just make sure it doesn't distract from the blue though...which i'm sure you know since you're artistic and know color just as well as I do...or much better.

about the trim...how about white? I'm sure it's easier to find and a lot less expensive.
Yes?...no?

kenshinkyo - Yup I found my pattern thats amost exatly like that! I had to dig really really hard to find it but I did! =)
Major- me personally I think white woud be tacky and it would get dirty really easily........
I did find my pattern thingy that has 2 different patterns that I think look good. I am going to ask cosplayzone to make me the mockups which I will then post on the forum. The mock ups will be made out of muslin cause its 99 cents a yard. lol
Now...... We needs some MALE input.
Do you GUYS want the straight button down or would you like whats in kenshinkyo's pic just male style meaning straight and not as form fitting but with the slant on the upper shoulder.
