You know, I'm wondering if the Jack is a good idea given that ACen has pretty strict rules about alchohol (http://www.acen.org/index.php?categoryid=51). How old is everyone? I'm 25, so I could get it, but I don't know if we could put together the basket in the lobby if we had it there. I look young for my age though, and I don't know if it would seem strange to the con staff if they noticed we were standing around with a bottle of Gentleman Jack. I don't want anyone to get in trouble, you know? What do you guys think about that?

Err... that's a good point... Well, we could ask the staff and see what they say?

I've got the basket and I'll get the Gentleman Jack. We don't have to include that in the basket at the panel, or we could gift wrap it or something, so it's obviously not opened? I've got a sticker maker(yay! so much fun) to make a label for some shower gel--which I can get a kit for at work on Friday at a 30% discount. Yay much? And I'm supplying a box of cereal at Shannon's orders.. but that'll be for her amusement, and can be separate from the basket.
We also have mugs to personalize. Any ideas for what I should draw on them? They only gave us six markers with it, but maybe the MSA logo?

You are like a wealth of arts and crafts supplies! The MSA logo seems like a good idea. And its not that hard to do. Are you planning on doing all this yourself? Or will you just be bringing the stuff and we'll be doing it all together?
I posted a question on the ACen forms about the alcohol issue. I'll tell you what IRT says.

I'll do the mug here, so that it dries and I can wash it to go into the basket. I hope I'm a good source of arts and crafts, working in a craft store! I'll take care of some of it here, like the stickers for the body wash, the mug, and I'll bring the rest so that we can hole up somewhere and make the rest look fabulous. The only reason we got the mug is that mom figured he should have something to put his Jack and Coke into.

I'm 21, the Jack's no problem for me, just need to hit the liquor store. If you'd rather buy a shower gel, I can simply make the sticker for it, and leave it at that.

I think gift wrapping the Jack seems like a good idea!
Shadow - I love the personalized mug idea too! And I think that putting the MSA logo on there would be perfect.
I'll find us a card and bring it for everyone to sign!

When I gave Travis a bottle of Jack at AFO it was in a Birthday bag. So maybe just a colored back of some sorts?
