there's always a comm to be made on Live Journal for free.Lot's of us are already there.It's a good start.Myspace is another option to think about.

*is really behind on this thread* OMG Indiana?!?! I might be able to go! If it's past next summer, I'll definately be there! My cousin will be back in Michigan and able to drive! Yay! My first con plans! I'll help in any way I can, but being broke and never having been to a con before, I doubt I'd be able to do much. D=

No site yet, we're still working on the paperwork and all the "behind the scenes" formalities. Our main management staff is almost set, so once we get all that taken care of, we'll start the fun stuff...like general staff recruitment, fundraising, marketing...all that! It's a long process though, so just hang in there for more info!
If any of you guys are interested in donating a SERIOUS amount of time to this and are preferably in the general vicinity of Chicago or Indianapolis, contact either me or Rachel. We could still use some more upper management!! (:

Like Laura said, anyone who wants to help, we have a few more positions in upper management as well as some assistant management. We don't have the site up yet but in the meantime, I will be posting updates here: community.livejournal.com/haganecon/I'll make a post when we have the site up so keep an eye out!

When you start recruting the general staff for working at the con, like security, the reception, etc. I'd like to be one! I'll be 16 in 2007, so I can legally help. ;D
