Oh I am going. I get in free this year! Boo-yea! I wish more voice actors were gonna be there. Scott McNeil I think is gonna be there again this year..WHOO HOO Hohenheim! *Sigh* I wish I lived closer to some of the other conventions though.

Scott McNeil... that name's really familiar to me. Didn't he do the voice of Duo Maxwell also? -can't remember-

He did do Duo Maxwell...amoung a TON of other things. Talk about a resume...
Anyway, I was thinking of going to Ohayocon this year. It's quite a hike for me, I'm in Chicago...think it's worth the trip? I know a lot of people that go, just none of them as far as me. I'd like to try to make it this year though...

Ooooh Chicago! I'm in Atlanta and my friend in Chicago wants me to fly up there and then drive with him to go...but it's looking like I may not be able to make it after all. I'm trying to plan something BIG for next year and it's gonna set me back a pretty penny so I may have to miss out on a lot of other cons.

I've heard Ohyocon is a 'cozy' con. Its not real hectic I guess, the anime club im in is going so I guess it's worth the trip. It's about a 2-3 hour drive for us.

Yea it's like.....6 hours for me. I'd still like to go though! With all this planning of HaganeCon, I'm trying to make my way to some smaller cons in the general area, because my only experience is staffing ACen...and it's not quite the same!

So, there's less then a month until Ohayocon... are we making any plans to meet up? Saturday would work the best for me since I might not be there the whole day Friday and Sunday, plus alot of people only come on Saturday, so it would probably be the best day to meet. I have no idea what time would be good though, since I don't know what time certain events are going on on Saturday. This is my first time going to Ohayocon, so I have no idea about location either ^^;; Do we have a division leader to plan this thing? If not I'd be happy to organize it, assuming I can get a little help from some con veterans about location, time and things.

Still a possibility I may be going...if I do, I'll be an Envy (or possibly just a Pride!Ed again) with a Lust and Gluttony in tow, so I'd be happy to meet up! Feel free to email/PM/IM me...I'll be around a bit more in the next two weeks, so we can always plan something!
As far as I know, there's no division leader. I can help you out with planning though if you'd like!

Well, I plan on going to this one. Sorry about the last time for Youmacon... My mom got sick and all my "friends" backed out on me. So yeah.

Ohayocon still hasn't posted a schedule up on their website, so I sent them an email asking for the times of some of the main events. Hopefully I'll get a reply, and we can plan our meeting around these events. If I don't get a reply, I think meeting at a time of around 2:00pm on Saturday would work. Then if we find out there's an event going on at that time some one wants to go to, we could go as a group, or the person could go to the event and meet up with us later. We could also maybe do a meetup later at night and have a "mini" MSA party in someone's room or somewhere around the con? It could be fun. I know they're having a Pajama Cosplay Contest on friday night, maybe we could have a PJ party? As for the location of the meetup, i have no idea. I've never been to this con or hotel before, so I don't know where a good place would be. Maybe we could meet in the con suite, or some kind of main loby area? Someone help me out here! ^^;;
As for what we should do at the meeting, I think we should definitely do a photoshoot. And maybe we could go to a panel or something, depending what's going on. I know there are going to be alot of FMA voice actors there, and what better way to get to know each other then waiting in line together for hours waiting to get autographs? ^.~ I also have some ideas for games we could play together.
1) Jump rope! We did this at JaFax and Anime Punch, but I'm unsure if it would work here. If it's not too cold we could do it outside, but otherwise I'm unsure if we could find a place inside to do it. We did it in a hallway at Anime Punch, and it was very crowded. People seemed to really like this at Jafax though, we made up anime jump rope chants (A FMA one [involving miniskirts ^.~], a Yaoi one, and a Natutard one, all very funny).
2) "Zeppelin'd" A card game, basically it's like Uno or Crazy 8's, only it is played with FMA cards, and instead of being able to match up suites, you match up the characters (i.e. a card with a picture of Roy could be played on top of another card with a picture of Roy)
3) Fullmetal Apples. It's the same as apples to apples (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apples_to_apples) except it has Fullmetal Alchemist (and other anime) words as the nouns. This game is really fun, but the only problem is that it has some words that could be inapropriate for any younger members who might play, most of them related to yaoi. ^.~ (I'm not going to stop anyone from playing it though, as long as you're fine with it and aren't going to complain, then feel free to play)
4) Other games- I don't really have any other Fullmetal Alchemist related games, but we could always resort back to good old fashioned board games. I have Twister and could possibly borrow Swivel from someone, or we could play a regular board game. I have the Pokemon Master Trainer board game, and a Ouija board too (could be fun if we had a PJ party, it glows in the dark!) ;3
5) If you don't like any ideas you can suggest something else you would like to do, or I can try to think of something else. Or we don't have to do any games and could just meet up for photos. What ever you want ^_^
Alright, so everyone let me know what you think. Either reply on this board, PM me, AIM me, or email me (alchemy.geek@gmail.com). I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with a meet up location, since I really have no idea! And give me some feed back on what you guys want to do, I want to make this fun for everyone!
