One problem....I'm most likely not going to MetroCon since I have issues with some people there. I don't really feel like dealing with their drama. We can talk about it though.

T-T DJ wants to host an MSA panel very badly with Cassi and possibly Travis! DJ emailed Roy Harms (mr.metrocon) jut now about inviting Travis Willingham! So DJ is waiting for a reply. probably in the morning, though.
So sorry that you might not go, Alley! DJ will be awesome in your place! As your assistant/second in command...?

D: Please don't hurt me. *is co-hosting the Ranger Panel* If you guys want an MSA panel, that I can get started, one problem, no Travis = Not so awesome Panel, so I wouldn't go for a panel till we hear that Travis is coming (Unless you want a whole group of Rangers pop into the room and be like "HAHA! You're Fuhrer's not here! But ours is! RED DAWN!).

Hey guys! Long time no post! lol! But a word about panels...... Having a MSA panel is great thing and a lot of fun. But they take work. Step 1 Decide what kind of panel you want to have. For a first time paneler, a meet-and-greet kind is usually the easiest. A fun, but little harder to run panel, would be one where you sit up with a couple other co-panelists and talk about the MSA. This takes a lot of planning because you can run out of stuff to talk about quickly. Step 2 Contact the convention's panel co-ordinator There should be a link, email adresser, or other method of contact on the con's website. If it's a link it should take you to a form that lets you fill out all the infomation that the con needs to set up your panel. Keep in mind that some conventions have rules about the minimun age of panelists. If you are under 16 you may not be able to host a panel without someone older with you. Step 3 Having Travis come to your panel...... okies, this is a biggie. Just having a MSA panel doesn't mean that he automaticly shows up. You have to talk to the Panel Co-ordinator. They have to talk to Travis. Your panel has to be scheduled so that it doesn't interfer with his. There is a lot more to this than you think. Step 4 Dealing with Hecklers People coming in and giving you a bad time can happen. Don't rise to the bait and yell back. By hosting a panel you represent the MSA. Bashing them will reflect badly on the entire group. The best way to handle that would be to tell con staff. It is securities job to take care of that, not yours. Before you set up a panel, get with the General incharge of the con you are attending so that you can make sure that you aren't doing things that overlap. Anywho, I hope I didnt' sound preachy or anything. Helping with panels is my job for Sakura Con so I've learned a lot of stuff lately. *snugs Skirts* ^_^

(lol all is good, i still love you!) yeah we considered that, but even if he's not there, and we get ranger hecklers, it's still a good thing, cuz who knows, i dont want those poor die-hard roy/travis fans thinking that the rangers is the only army out there!!!!!

Well seeing as Metrocon is coming up soon. How many skirts are planning to go? I'm here to relay a message that the Rangers have extended an invitation to the Skirts to join them on Sunday for a Picnic around 3pm in this general area. They hope the Skirts will join them for some Skirts/Ranger rivelry fun involving Dodgeball and a few other games, though you will have to supply your own food, like everyone else as the Rangers won't be able to pool enough money to feed everyone by Sunday (Ranger Dinner reasons). I'm still waiting for a response from the General, but seeing as I haven't yet (and its been a while now) I'm just giving everyone a heads up on what's happening at Metrocon and that the Rangers hope Miniskirts will accept the invitation.

ill totally show up if i can find it annd/or i remember. Well this is just some general updates for you. Seeing as Alley may not be going to Metrocon, and I'm under the assumption either you or DJ have taken second command with this (since no one has bothered to PM me who is standing in for Alley). Sunday - 3pm - Perry Harvey Sr Park Supply your own Food Activities include Dodgeball, Twister, Water Balloon Toss Guests - Trying to get Vic, Steve, Greg and/or Doug Info Link: blomp.proboards80.com/index.cgi?board=cons&action=display&thread=1172020868&page=1We may need some balls for the dodgeball. I suggest you start rounding up the skirts btw, how is DJ? I haven't heard from her for some time. ~ Taisa
