I'd like to throw my two cents on this thread and comment that it's great to see all of you Div leaders working together so well to help each other out for this con. Good job! *salutes*

I have been having a problem contacting ANYONE working Oni-con (like the higher ups). I requested a Risembool Ranger Panel over a month ago and have yet to get a responce, another Ranger sent them an e-mail saying it had ben requested among other things, so it looks as though we may not beable to get an MSA because they aren't even responding to the RR. Believe me I am not happy about this, I had plans for an Ouran High School Host Club panel as well.
If we can't get a Panel though I would LOVE to have a MSA photoshoot. We had one at AWA 06 and it was a BLAST so if we can't get a panel I think that would be a good idea ^.^

I'm quite certain that I have no form of a confirmation e-mail for anything. The closest I have is a confirmation of the hotel receipt. I'll have my driver's license on me though :3 Go ahead and bring all of that with you as proof of eligibility, that will be just fine. If you plan on playing Dodgeball or going to the Dinner just make sure you go to the links below and sign up. creator.zoho.com/puritysan/dodgeball-registration/view/2/creator.zoho.com/puritysan/event-sign-up/form/1/----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've been hearing about how replies to any emails concerning happenings with Oni-con such as: panel requests, responses from staff heads regarding their volunteers, questions in general, have been slacking in the past couple of months and it's really been a major issue with people. I didn't receive an email asking for volunteers until the beginning of last month and I just found out last week that I'm working Security. That's pretty late to be receiving just word on what staff you're working for because we all know that volunteers are generally notified 2-4 months before the con. In regards to getting a panel, you're just going to have to keep emailing them until you get a response because there's really no other way to get it through to the events staff. If a panel does not pan out, then I'm all for a Skirt Photoshoot.

My friend and I are actually having to back out of working security because I bought my badge with a group pre-reg...and we weren't expecting it. We got the e-mail a WEEK after I bought it and we were pretty mad.
I'm not going to work on a staff that won't answer to things, its rediculous.

We got the e-mail a WEEK after I bought it and we were pretty mad. I'm not going to work on a staff that won't answer to things, its rediculous. I understand how you feel completely. The only reason I'm working is so I can have some crash space because I don't have the money for a hotel room and I'm not able to leave whenever I feel like it. It is really irritating that they're notifying everyone so late about working, especially with schedules because a lot of times you're not able to switch the times you work because of some idiosyncrasy that's just completely stupid in the long run. I think the best thing to do right now is to remain optimistic. Keep shooting events staff with emails to get the panels in action until their inboxes have no more storage space and explode. I am here if you need any help putting MSA things together, it'll be a great experience for me so I'll know the steps to take when I launch my Division next August with San Japan, and it'll help take a bit of the load off your shoulders. If you manage to get a panel fired up, I'll help you out with it in any way possible. Dang, after all that, I just realized I still have a few things to do myself before I leave.

Please please PLEASE Make sure to sign up. It's our way of rsvping, and if you're not int he numbers it's gonna be a hassle for you and everybody else.
And I just remembered, I'll be making our own little badges to make it easier so you don't have to carry around that conformation email. XD; I'll more than likely be handing the few 'skirt' ones to pyro (if she does't mind that it) to give out. <3
So... 17 days. Oh the crunch time.
Also, I need to know. What resturant are we doing this at? That subject hasn't been touched on so far. Suggestions? Recommendations?

Or someplace like Chili's or Friday's where we can have a rowdy group and not worry? That's my two cents :3 Also seafood's amazing, but I understand that it can get a little expensive, so maybe not.

Well, on one hand, i'd like it to be a place not too much farther than five miles from the hotel. With out luck we can get shuttle to take us. -nod- on the other had, is expense. make it some place that people wouldn't have to spend more than 15 -20 dollars on themselves.

I'm fine with the badges being handed to me, that wya I can get them handed out to the skirts. If I do get a panel...I want it to be on Friday...but I would hate for them to schedule it at the same as the RR one..which I will have to e-mail them about again. I'll do that all today because yes I am REALLY wanting to do these panels.
I gtg for now..funning late for work ~.~

Ahh I wish I knew more about the area x3 I'm from The Woodlands. But I'll look up what I can here. Looks like there are a couple sushi place in Rice Village, about 4 miles away. Japanese places are good, 'cause while you can easily get scared by the expensive entrees, you can always find something around ten bucks or less, especially if you're thinkin' sushi and/or miso. Worth a thought, anyway Also it looks like I may not make it to the dinner ;_; but I don't mind helping y'all find a place x3 I'll still be going to dodgeball. Friday just probably won't be happening for me <3

Ok, well I've added myself and three others to the dodgeball. We are all Miniskirt Rangers...so we can play either side which may be needed..so yeah ~.~ from the count at THIS moment we would probably be on the skirt side..the Ouran High School Host Club will probably stick together lmao...thats our cosplay for Saturday and what we will be wearing to the dodgeball ^.^
