Well,as popular as the franchise is,I don't see how they can keep it going in this day and age and keep the original spirit of the character intact. It's been going for 44 years!!!! And speaking of Roger Moore as Bond,in the film "The Cannonball Run",Moore plays a character named Seymour Goldfarb Jr.who believes he's Roger Moore AS James Bond.Aston Martin car, chicks and all. It's really funny to watch! ;D Roger essentially played a spoof of his own signature character and had a lot of fun doing so. The film was released at the height of his Bond popularity in 1981,coinciding with the release of "For Your Eyes Only" that same year-his 5th Bond film.

Ha, I remember. Today in TV Productions, we gave away two tickets to see Casino Royale. And I was like "....James Blond. Hee hee...." I can't believe what their doing to my childhood! This guy (I refuse to learn his name, such is my contempt) doesn't even look like Bond. Bond has always been dark-haired and debonair for me. (But then, I grew up with Pierce as my Bond). The sad thing is, my dad might make us go see it because he believes that we should "uphold the tradition" of Bond. They're not even upholding it themselves! Dad's all "I think it looks like a good movie! I want to see it for the story [translation: Bond girls] and the action. I don't care what Bond looks like." Well, I do! So, neh!!! XPPP~~~~
I have lost faith in the Bond franchise with their poor sucessor to the legacy. If he isn't thrown out after the next movie, I guess I'll have to put my suit and gadgets up all the way in the attic instead of behind the door where they currently reside.
*goes into mourning*

Can someone name a drink thats pretty much exclusive for funerals? I want to drink it at the Australian premiere Well, there isn't any such common thing.Beverages aren't good ettiquette at a funeral. But if you still want one that's theme appropriate to the occasion, might I suggest a drink called a "Fallen Angel". Fallen Angel juice of 1 lime or 1/2 lemon 1 + 1/2 oz gin 1 dash bitters 1/2 tsp white Creme' de Menthe Shake with ice and strain into a coc ktail glass.Serve with a cherry. I wouldn't get caught with that at the theater if I were you,Michael. It's not a good idea.I don't think I need to remind you that you're not old enough to drink yet either. You'd be better off wearing black and bring a box of tissue. However, for those of us here OVER 21,mourn away.
