B.G.Mustang-"He's here to help me with some paperwork I got behind on.It's good to see you again Lieutenant." He set the stack of paper on his desk and continued. B.G.Mustang-"You've been assigned to work with the Southern HQ Team.General Emoghostskirt is holding her meeting on the library rooftop.Report to her there." Lt Hawkeye-"The library roof ,Sir?" B.G.Mustang-"There are worse places to hold a meeting." He shot a glare at Nate who caught the look and began typing faster. He saluted her as she left to join her team and a moment later another knock came at the door.Sgt.Falman entered the room and saluted. Sgt.Falman-"I was told to report to you here for instructions,Sir.What should I do?" B.G.Mustang-"Hmm,I don't have an assignment lined up for you.You can assist Brigadier General Nate in his current duty here for now." Mustang walked over to Nate's desk and pulled a stack of forms from it and set them on the desk opposite Nate's.Falman sat down and began to fill in the forms one by one. ------------------------------------------------- General Mist on Fire was woken from a sound sleep by a knock on the door. She quickly got dressed and answered it to find a young lieutenant waiting at the door.He saluted her and introduced himself. Havoc-"1st LT.Jean Havoc reporting Sir.I have a letter for your Team CO,but he was in custody this morning.I was told to bring this to you."He handed her the envelope and waited to be excused. G.M.O.F."Thank you Lt.You can go now" They saluted again and after he left she opened the letter and read it."Uh oh.This is bad.I need to take this to Mustang" She got dressed and left for his office. ----------------------------------------------------- General Mist On Fire arrived at Mustang's office with the letter in hand shortly before the mission was scheduled to start for the day.She saluted Mustang upon entering. G.M.O.F.-"Brigadier General Mustang.I have a letter that requires your attention. It's regarding our team mate Major Mamaru. He appears to have gone missing" B.G.Mustang-"Missing?" he opened the letter and read the details and again shot a glare of contempt at Brigadier General Nate. "From the looks of this report, liquor isn't the only thing you have trouble keeping under control." Nate tried his best to hide his face from both Mustang and Mist behind an opened folder he had propped up to copy. G.M.O.F.-" I must be returning to my other duties in the MSA.I'll be leaving for home now." B.G.Mustang-"Have a safe journey,General" -salutes-As she left,Mustang turned to speak to Falman and Nate. B.G.Mustang-"I'm leaving to start this excersise now.You two stay here and continue your work" With that last statement,he left his office for the meeting place at the Hall steps. Nate was typing as furiously as he was downing coffee and chocolate cake from the cafeteria. Since copying down texts and modifying them was rather brainless, he had a fair amount of time to think to himself. Jeez, I'm glad I have such a high metabolism, or else I'd be like a blimp in no time. Hmmmm there's an "a" missing in this word... fixed. I wonder how soon I can get back in the field.Nate glanced at the stack of papers before him. Barely even halfway done... and the exercise was supposed to start today! Man... and here I am, stuck in a sentence that they wouldn't even give the condemned. Lieutenant Hawkeye walked into the room with more papers, and a panic stricken look spread across Nate's face faster than a plague of fossil fever would spread. I HOPE THOSE AREN'T FOR ME TO DO! After the two talked for a minute, Mustang sent the entrapped brigadier general a glare that would be more than enough to melt a glacier. The look of panic was joined with one of sheer intimidation, and Nate pounded his keyboard so hard, some of the officers around him wondered if he was going to break it. A little after the lieutenant left the office, another knock sounded and a tall, gray haired man stepped in. After exchanging some words with Mustang, he sat down next to Nate and began filling out forms that sat on his desk. Nate saw that he signed his papers "Sgt. Vato Falman." Well, at least he fills out papers. That's good. Nate muttered "Name's Brigadier General Nate. Good to meetcha." Around the time Nate would've been giving orders to his group to go start the exercise, General Mist on Fire arrived at Mustang's office. He didn't quite hear what she said, but he did make out that Major Mamoru was missing. What he DID hear loud and clear, though, was "Liquor isn't the only thing you have keeping under control" aimed straight at Nate, who immediately propped up a folder to hide the countenance of sheer terror he had. But once that pang left him, Nate thought to himself Mamoru's missing? I guess it's not so bad that I got put here... if I tried to go out with just me and Mist on Fire, I doubt we could've been very effective. As soon as he finished that thought, Nate looked up at the papers on his desk. Not even halfway through! I don't think I'll be able to get cake at the 10th Street anymore... augh the Devil himself wishes he could make Hell as bad as this.

Ed wasn't calmed down by the scolding of what he already knew. Ed-"Calm down?? Let's just get this over with!" Ed stepped past them and sat on a higher step and sulked a bit with his arms crossed facing away from them. At that moment,Mustang came down from the top of the stairs and spoke to him. B.G.Mustang-"Are you causing more trouble already? I can see your temper is as short as ever" Ed exploded into full blown rage. Ed-"What does that have to do with anything?!?!?" B.G.Mustang-"Calm down Ed...we're starting now" He walked down a few more stairs and turned to face all three. "Your starting point is the main gates ahead of you.One marker has been placed in plain view.Search the area until you find the next, that will give the direction you need to follow. Each marker will more difficult to locate than the previous one.Locate as many as you can within 24 hours and return here at that time.Now....GO!" He saluted them and stepped aside as all three ran for the gate. Elf and the others snapped off a brief salute before running for the gate. Elf hadn't meant for her comment to be mean and now Ed was staying as far from her as possible. She sighed as they approached the gate. well, that was just perfect... the mission hadn't even started and she was already digging herself a hole... they reached the gate. Elf was looking left but couldn't see a flag... she looked to Ed and Canine to see if they'd had any luck... Canine sighed and glanced at Ed and Elf, both far from each other. ed also avoiding herself. She frowned and then scanned the area for the marker. She squinted her eyes, and leaned down to the ground, in case it was lower. She sighed again and then couldn't take the avoidance anymore. Canine: Ok, we HAVE to work together, or else we won't find any. We only have 24 hours. So let's just forget it and work together. Canine looked around and ran further up ahead, only to spot a flag in the distance. Canine: Over there! Is that it?

"What could Mustang have meant by '...worse places to have a meeting?" Lieutnenat Hawkeye muttered to herself as she walked up the stairs to the roof. "The library roof of all places..." She opened the door leading to the roof and was met by cold blast of rain. In the distance, she could make out two figures. One she was sure was Major Armstrong. She couldn't think of anyone else with that much of a build. What puzzled her was the woman sitting beside him. She'd never seen her before. Hawkeye held her arm up to block the rain as she proceeded to where Armstrong and the woman were seated. Upon approaching, she saluted them.
"Hello Major Armstrong." she smiled lightly. She turned to the woman. "Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye, pleased to meet you."

Major Jingles burst through the door to the roof and ran forward. She was almost unable to catch herself before she swung over the railing and fell to her doom. Her hand grasped onto the rail tightly and she flipped her body around, doing a handstand while balancing on the railing and walking on her hands over to General Emoghostskirt, Lt. Hawkeye and Major Armstrong.
"Howdy do!"

She examined her, also not making recognition. Then it hit her, looking at her wrist. "Judging by that jingling bracelet on your wrist, you must be Major Jingles of the Miniskirt Army." Hawkeye held her hand out. "Lieutenant Hawkeye."

"It's very nice to meet you, Hawkeye-san," she nodded and the sound of jingling bells rang.

Soon after, he saw what could only be described as a blur with an aura of pure energy and charisma burst through the roof entryway. Barely a second later, she was hanging over the roof, but was able to catch herself and spring up, before reaching out a foot to the lieutenant's hand in greeting. All the while, she was accompanied by a jingling noise, similar to altar bells. After this display Armstrong flexed his muscles, causing his shirt to burst into shreds, which seemed to form the shower of sparkling pink stars that surrounded him. Entering one of his showy poses, Armstrong cried out "LIEUTENANT HAWKEYE! IT'S WONDERFUL TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" Upon saying that, he took the lieutenant's hand and knelt down, tears streaming down his smiling face. The blowing wind caused the charms on Major Jingle's braclet to chime, which diverted the kneeling Armstrong's attention to the new arrival. "MAJOR JINGLES!" he said, turning towards her at a high speed. "WHAT AN HONOR TO MEET YOU! AND WHAT DEXTERITY AND GRACE YOU POSESS! AND WHAT ENERGY! IT WILL BE AN HONOR TO SERVE WITH YOU!" The tears were streaming down his face even harder, in the almost excessive melodrama signature to Lt. Col. Armstrong.

When they spotted the first flag, or rather... when CANINE spotted it, Ed looked at them both. "Do either of you have something to carry them in?" Ed asked. Elf couldn't help but smile a little. His question was at least a sign he wasn't totally and completely still pissed. "I think I've got something," she said. She slipped a piece of metal from an inner pocket in her jacket that was about a half-inch thick and at least a foot long. The same array she had on her gloves was imprinted in both sides of the metal. Elf kept it hidden in case the metal in her gloves was too small an amount for a transmutation... or in case her gloves were taken away from her all together. Activating the arrays, the metal plate was quickly transmuted into a somewhat large cylindrical canister, slightly resembling a thermus, with a lid that could be slipped on and off. She held it out to Ed, her eyes hopeful. "Will this work?"

"General Emoghostskirt pleasure to meet you lieutenant Hawkeye." she said standiing up. "Geeze must you be so loud?" she said to Lt. Col. Armstrong. "Its bad enough you nearly scared me to falling off the roof we don't need to tell all the other teams what are plans of action are." she said still slightly irritated and a little cranky from being woken up only to fall off the roof. "alright , so i guess we can start. you have 24 hours to find as many flags as possible from the underground location i have left as a starting point for you it goes from under the library to a series of tunnels i have a map of the area but do not know where any of the flags are located. We must not be too loud down their in case of loose rocks that could fall. We don't need anyone getting killed on the first day." she said seriously. "keep in mind each flag after the other will be harder to find so search carefully." she said and used her alchemy to lift the dry shadow floor from the roof and converting it back into her own shadow. She then walked over to the roof door. "I will show you where to start follow me" she said and walked down the steps and into the library basement where she opened the trap door. "any questions on your mission then?" she asked looking at her team.

Then at the drop of a hat, she turned and ran up to General Emoghostskirt, "No questions at all, sir! I'll go find those flags!" She saluted and ran off down the tunnel, her bracelet echoing through the darkness.

Yes, I can sniff things out very accurately, as long as there isn't any different scent over powering the object in question. Canine took the flag out of the canister, and demonstrated by sniffing it slightly and feeling the fabric. To sift out the different properties it contained. Canine: Alright. I got the scents of plastic, rubber, and a stretchy fabric...Nylon I think. This should be enough for me to find some other flags. She put the flag back into the canister and sighed, while looking at Ed skeptically. Canine: Well? Does that meet your standards, Major?
